Prior to becoming infamous within the Black Phoenix forces, Replicants were a demonic race known for their Shapeshifting power. Capable of taking the appearance of living beings, these demons had no known identity or name. An androgynous creature without a true form for their appearances constantly change to adapt to the surrounding environment. For a Replicant to survive, they must kill the targeted prey and fully replace them to conceal themselves amid the ranks of society. This includes even humans and other humanoid species. With these methods, they were able to survive until their existence were discovered several years before the Great War.Replicants were able to conceal their existence; however, the latest innovations were able to expose their unique aura and dark blood. Since it was a time when demons were hunted down, many Replicants who lacked combat experience were slaughtered by their pursuers. Unable to adapt, they were driven to near extinction until inevitably only a few remained. These surviving Replicants desired for one to lead them. However, because none carried a true identity, none could lead them to their own path of salvation. That was until she arrived. The sole princess of the Etrurg Empire.

The Etrurg Empire, a vast territory that expand the Central Regions. The Replicants that survived ended up within the entrance to the territory itself. There, the Sole heir known as Reinhild Schnaufer encountered them during her return following diplomatic relations with another Superpower. Rather than order her soldiers to eliminate them, she took them in within her palace upon seeing their mimicry. Assigning them as her personal shadows, the Replicants were able to conduct a series of missions. Using their powers, they were able to effectively conduct espionage, assassination contracts, and even sabotage for the sake of one's ambition.In exchange for their service, the Replicants were allowed to live within the palace without needing to worry about prejudice from their enemies. One particular Replicant became interested in the Princess, and during the coming months, it decided to use its mimicry to transform into her. However, unlike the others who merely take on the form of their target, this one chose to alter its appearance to differentiate itself from the princess herself. From listening to her conversations alongside her ambition to create a nation without persecution, the Replicant decided to copy her ideals, and began to lead the rest of its kin to ensure they can one day achieve the same ambition she shared with it.Unfortunately, this peace would abruptly end with the Great War. The Black Phoenix, a rising military power launched a massive invasion force against the Etrurg Empire. The invasion lasted less three months. Within the first month, the Black Phoenix successfully obtained Air Supremacy against the Etrurg Empire, wiping out their entire Air Force whilst the artificial demons overwhelmed the ground units due to their abnormal combat prowess, innovative designs, and overall strategic victories within the territory. At the end of the second month the Black Phoenix were able to sever the Main Army's forces in half, only a few hundred kilometers to the capital and the palace. It was only a matter of time before the Black Phoenix achieved their objective and occupy the majority of the Central Regions.With the situation becoming dire, the Replicants attempted to assist the Etrurg soldiers by using their abilities to infiltrate and assassinate the commanders leading the campaign. This effort failed due to the relics held by the commanders; alongside the Founders blood rendering the Replicant's unable to conceal their identity before them. By the beginning of the third month, the Black Phoenix Air Force launched a series of bombing runs upon the capitol, leveling the entire city alongside any who attempted to resist their will. The commander of this campaign requested Reinhild to surrender, and become apart of the Black Phoenix in exchange for the safety of her people. She refused, knowing in the end those subjugated would be forced to fight in the Great War. The Black Phoenix already had an infamous reputation regarding the fate of the vanquished.Following her denial, the Black Phoenix arrived at her palace and engaged the Replicants at close range. The Replicant who became close to Her Highness assisted her with evacuating from the assault. The enemy prevented their escape by ambushing them within the passageways. Reinhild and the Replicant defeated their opponents; however, both were mortally wounded and were going to succumb to their injuries with the Black Phoenix soldiers encroaching upon their location. With no hope of escaping, Reinhild asked the Replicant if it wanted to inherit her will. The Replicant agreed, and rather than kill her, assimilated Her Highness into its being.From that moment, the Replicant fused its existence with Reinhild. Recreating itself into a Queen Replicant. The first due to the fact it now had an identity rather than a nameless entity. Following its rebirth, the Replicant decided to take on the identity and name of Reinhild Schnaufer. She would surrender to the Black Phoenix, the Etrurg Empire now under occupation with no one knowing the Replicant had become something entirely different.

Following the occupation of the Etrurg Empire, to ensure the safety of her kin the reborn Replicant Queen volunteered to join the Black Phoenix under the promise of a safe haven for the Replicants. To prove her worth, she decided to join their Air Force alongside other recruits subjected by them. She inevitably encountered her rival and love interest, Nogami. During her training, she underwent extensive physical evaluation and flight test to determine her overall capabilities within the sky. Highly ambitious and competitive, Reinhild became one of the top students alongside her rival in the flight academy. For eight months she continued her training; all that remained was to participate the final exam.In the final exams, a mock battle using the ZXY-1 Zeri was conducted to test their piloting skills before they can be assigned to a unit. In the midst of their battle, Reinhild and Nogami proceeded to eliminate their adversaries. Although merely a mock battle, both were considered the best within their class. If one of them could defeat the other, the top scoring candidate was not only allowed to join the 1st Aerial Company, but also the position of an officer. After an hour of intense combat, Reinhild inevitably lost to Nogami. She ended up becoming second among her class, and thus, unable to join the front lines until she spent another four months within the Air Force. Nogami would immediately be sent to the front lines following the graduation ceremony.After graduating, she was assigned to the 17th Aerial Company that were placed in reserves. Often conducting reconnaissance from the ZXV-5 Xun, she never had the opportunity to conduct something significant to advance her career. Even after four months within the Air Force, she hadn't accomplished anything to earn her recognition compared to her Rival Nogami. Often when she viewed the campaign, the 1st Aerial Company would always be known within their ranks. This would continue until the sudden summer offensive of the Central Regions.

An enemy offensive occurred within the Central Region. Scores of enemy Aircraft and other units started bombarding the Airfields to prevent them from sortieing. Since the elite Aerial Companies were occupied within the Western Regions, the reserves were sent to hold out until some of their aces could arrive to push the enemy forces back. It was there she immediately became an Ace throughout the two month offensive.Piloting one of the ZXY-1 Zeri, she and her company engaged the enemy at close range. Using tactics she learnt during her academy days, she began to attack enemy pilots from above. Always observing the situation, she ensured she could engage from a higher altitude and disengage before they could realize her presence. Although she followed standard training, her kills were only at least three at best. That was until one particular sortie made her an Ace.During one particular mission, she sortied on her own to scout for signs of another night attack. She inevitably spotted forty bombers and their escorts, but before she could report her superiors the enemy fired at her; destroying her communication equipment and preventing her from contacting for reinforcements. Rather than retreat, she single-handedly engaged the enemy forces head on. Taking as many as she could, she ended up destroying half of the bombers and several escorts before running out of ammunition. Once she ran out of ammunition, she decided to personally ram her Aircraft against the lead bomber. She survived the skirmish despite impacting the lead enemy bomber head on. She spent several months hospitalized; however, because of her achievement, she ended up being recognized by the her superiors for fending off an enemy night attack. After those two months, the enemy driven back by the aces and she would eventually proceed with her career within the Black Phoenix Air Force.After she recovered, she was reassigned to the 1st Aerial Company. There she would compete with her rival Nogami and would participate in various campaigns throughout the Great War. Her highly aggressive and competitive nature allowed her to ensure her prey could never escape. And alongside her intuition and battle awareness, her kill count ended increasing with each sortie she participated. Eventually becoming a Queen of Aces. Her kills alongside the eventual deployment of the EXZ-9 Erika allowed her to become one of the most infamous Aces of the Great War.

Throughout the Great War, she became one of the most decorated pilots within their ranks. By the end of the Great War, Reinhild scored 522 Aerial Victories. Seventy percent of these victories were from the Erika aircraft. As the war began to increasingly turn against the Black Phoenix, the allied forces were encroaching upon the old territories of the Etrurg Empire. Despite the promise of a Haven, Reinhild knew the Black Phoenix will never commit to their end of the promise. Especially since the decline of skilled pilots meant it was only a matter of time before desperation settled in. With the Replicants dying off one by one during the war, she decided to personally surrender to the allied forces in hopes they will at least spare her kin. Unfortunately, the Black Phoenix intercepted her before she could even arrive at her destination.She was forced to confront her rival, Nogami. Despite having a love interest with the fellow Ace, both knew this encounter would be inevitable. It is because both had a reason to fight, neither decided to hold back during their battle within the skies. Both were considered the rulers of the skies, tied in terms of Aerial Victories, and both were subjugated by the Black Phoenix. Both were evenly matched, having developed their own style and knowing each others capabilities. The skirmish would only last for half an hour. And in the aftermath, Reinhild landed a fatal shot upon Nogami. Gravely injured, Nogami commended her resolve before inevitably succumbing to his injuries. However, she also suffered severe injuries of her own from their fight and inevitably lost consciousness. She was captured by the Black Phoenix forces later on.Following her capture, she received the Einfallen Curse upon the nape of her neck. A proof to know she betrayed their cause. Fortunately for her, the other Replicant's were able to escape before they Black Phoenix could eliminate them. As punishment for her betrayal, she is to pilot the RXY-7 Rakurai Aircraft of an experimental model. The target being the nation of Altera and eradicate its existence from the map. As the RXY-4 Rita carried her aircraft towards its destination, the unit were attacked by the surviving Replicants who refused to allow her to die because of them. An intense dogfight occurred, and due to the decline of experienced pilots, the Black Phoenix units suffered decimating losses with their fighters. With the bomber burning, it ended up releasing Reinhild's Aircraft before activating the engine. She began to descend at an alarming rate. Due to the speed, none of her kin could save her whilst she began to descend to her death. Although she couldn't stop the Aircraft, she adjusted her course to avoid colliding with the nation of Altera and destroying an entire continent in the process. Focusing all of her power on defense, the Rakurai began to descend upon the ocean itself. When it impacted the ocean, the resulting explosion resulted in the permanent shift in the tide itself. Reinhild would survive the crash; albeit, barely conscious considering the destructive nature of the Rakurai models.After surviving, she and the remaining Replicants took shelter within allied territory. Acting as refugees, they remained until the end of the Great War before returning to the Etrurg Empire. However, the Empire had ceased to exist, having its territories dissolved into smaller nations. Without a throne to return, Reinhild and her Replicants continued to wander within the war torn regions for several years.It is unknown what occurred after the Great War. However, the original objective the former host carried remained within the Replicant Queen's existence. And even if the Empire had dissolved, she still intends to create a nation for her kin to live without concern for conflict.

A special pair of gloves he received when his unit cleared an ancient ruin following a battle against its ruler. Although no different from the normal pair of gloves, when worn it displays certain attributes in regards to its power.For Rostislav's case, it involves presenting him the ability to create and summon forth machines and weaponry of all kinds. This meant, in addition to his knowledge within the Engineering field, he could create and design an endless amount of mechanized units and weaponry of all kinds without the restriction of materials to manufacture. So long as the user is capable of projecting sufficient mana, the amount of weapons he could project is endless.This could range from a lance, to an Armageddon of his combat androids of various models. This is one reason he could fight many by himself. And the gloves also amplify his Phase Force and enhances his defenses in the process. In addition to this, should he analyze the structure of foreign designs and machinery, he is capable of replicating it with this ability and project them to fight alongside his forces.However, the more he creates, the more mana will be required alongside the complex specifications of certain weapons and machinery. This could be problematic, since it can hamper some of his abilities should he use it for prolonged durations. Furthermore, if the weapon is unique and cannot be replicated, he is unable to analyze. Despite some of its flaws, it is a unique artifact that he always carries at a moments notice.

If he lacks the foundation, or should his ambition falter, he cannot use this seal until he regains what makes him unique.
